About
Why Kindly Noted exists
When someone dies, the people closest to them often sit down with a funeral home within a day or two, tired and grieving, and make dozens of choices about a funeral they never discussed. Many end up guessing what the person would have wanted, and what it was right to spend.
The Federal Trade Commission’s advice is simple: put your preferences in writing and make sure your family knows. Kindly Noted is a tool for exactly that, with one addition: a budget, in your own figures, with a ceiling your family can point to.
It is deliberately small. It sells nothing but optional extra room, it does not refer you to anyone, and it cannot read your letter without your link.
Who runs it
Kindly Noted runs at usfuneralexpense.net and is built and hosted by WeldonPC, a computer services company in Garfield Heights, Ohio. It is an independent site: not a funeral home, insurer, lawyer or government agency, and not connected with any of them.
The home, How it works, Before you prepay, Pricing and About pages carry one small banner ad from WeldonPC’s own ad network, adengine.us; for now it advertises WeldonPC’s own services. Your letter and its family links never show an ad (see Privacy).
The sister site usfuneralexpense.com helps a family read a funeral home’s price list at the arrangement table. Kindly Noted is for the person planning ahead.
